Serious power for traction kiting with 2 or 4-line control
The Tensor package includes everything you need to get into power kiting. With a convertible dual-line control bar, safety leash and quick release all set up and ready to fly, the Tensor makes serious power simple and safe.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, the innovative convertible bar system transforms into two rugged quad-line handles for the extra control and maneuverability you need to take on traction sports like buggying, snow kiting and landboarding.

About power kites
Looking for a thrill? Designed with paraglider technology, these all–fabric wings self-inflate as they fly to generate serious pull on two or four lines. Harness the power of the wind to pull yourself on a buggy, skis, snowboard, or just the soles of your feet.

The Tensor delivers the power to take on demanding traction sports with ease. Propel yourself across land or snow on a buggy, skis, snowboard, landboard, or even just the soles of your feet – but you’d better hang on!
Which size is right for me?
Choose the 3.1 for less pull and quicker turns- great for smaller pilots and higher winds. The 5.0 delivers extra power for larger pilots and snow sports. The 4.2 is our most popular size, with a nioce balance between pull, wind range and maneuverability.
Convertible bar
Use the control bar in dual line mode to get started, then convert it to quad line handles for more power and control as your skill increases. To convert, jkust remove the machined aluminum joiner in the control bar and plug in the included quad-line handle fittings.
Everything you need
Complete package includes kite, convertible control bar, quad line handle fittings, four Dyneema control lines, safety leashes and quick release safety disconnect, detailed instruction manual, and even a stainless ground stake to secure your kite between flights.
Forgiving handling
Medium aspect canopy with a deep leading edge curve means the Tensor won’t bite you with sudden acceleration in a gust, or collapse at the edge of the wind if your turn isn’t perfect.
Safety features
Just let go if things get too extreme! The included safety leash (2-line mode) and kite killers (4-line mode) keep the kite from blowing away as it settles to the ground, ready to launch again. In a real emergency, jettison the kite altogether with the quick release disconnect fitting.
